At La Bagé, every order is handled with care, attention, and a strong focus on secure delivery. Because La Bagé operates as a personal sourcing service for designer bags, shipping timelines and delivery arrangements may vary depending on the item, sourcing partner, destination country, and order details.

1. Delivery Process

Once a client has confirmed their selected bag and the required payment has been received, delivery arrangements begin. Shipping details are confirmed individually for each order based on the item location, destination, and available courier options.

Clients will receive delivery information once the shipment has been arranged, including tracking details where applicable.

2. Shipping Destinations

La Bagé offers international shipping where available. Delivery options may vary depending on the destination country, courier service coverage, customs regulations, and any restrictions affecting luxury goods or international shipments.

If delivery to a specific country is not available or involves unusual restrictions, this will be communicated before the order is finalized.

3. Estimated Delivery Time

Shipping times are provided as estimates only. Delivery timelines may vary depending on:

  • the location of the item,

  • the sourcing partner,

  • order confirmation timing,

  • destination country,

  • customs processing,

  • courier operations,

  • and other factors outside reasonable control.

Estimated delivery times, when provided, are shared in good faith but are not guaranteed.

4. Tracking and Insurance

Where available, shipments are arranged with tracking and insurance for added security and peace of mind. Delivery methods are chosen based on the nature of the item, destination, and available shipping options at the time of dispatch.

Clients are encouraged to monitor tracking information once it has been provided.

5. Signature and Secure Receipt

For high-value items, a signature upon delivery may be required. This helps ensure that the order is delivered securely and received by the intended recipient.

Clients are responsible for providing accurate delivery details and for ensuring that someone is available to receive the shipment if required.

6. Delivery Charges

Shipping costs are communicated clearly before the order is confirmed. Depending on the order, total delivery-related charges may include:

  • shipping fees,

  • insurance costs,

  • packaging or handling charges,

  • courier-related fees,

  • and destination-related charges where applicable.

La Bagé aims to keep all delivery costs transparent before the client proceeds.

7. Customs, Duties, and Taxes

For international shipments, customs duties, VAT, import taxes, handling charges, and other destination-related fees may apply depending on the country of delivery.

Unless explicitly stated otherwise in writing, these charges are the responsibility of the client. La Bagé is not responsible for charges imposed by customs authorities or destination-country regulations.

Clients are encouraged to check their local import rules before placing an international order.

8. Delays

While every effort is made to ensure timely and careful delivery, delays may occasionally occur due to factors outside La Bagé’s control, including:

  • customs clearance,

  • courier service delays,

  • weather disruptions,

  • international transport issues,

  • public holidays,

  • incorrect delivery information,

  • or other unforeseen circumstances.

La Bagé is not liable for shipping delays caused by third parties or events beyond reasonable control, but will always aim to keep clients informed where possible.

9. Incorrect Address Information

Clients are responsible for providing complete and accurate delivery details. La Bagé is not responsible for delays, failed delivery attempts, losses, or additional costs resulting from incorrect or incomplete address information submitted by the client.

If a package is returned due to incorrect delivery information, additional shipping charges may apply before re-delivery can be arranged.

10. Lost, Stolen, or Damaged Shipments

If a shipment is lost or arrives visibly damaged, the client should contact La Bagé as soon as possible after delivery or upon tracking irregularity. Where insurance applies, La Bagé will make reasonable efforts to assist in initiating a claim or communicating with the courier.

However, the outcome of any shipping claim may depend on the courier’s process, insurance terms, and the circumstances of the shipment.

11. Delivery Completion

Delivery is considered complete once the order has been delivered to the address provided by the client and marked as delivered by the courier, or signed for where applicable.

Clients are encouraged to inspect their package promptly upon arrival and to report any visible issues without delay.
